31,000 Stories…

We Serve Thousands of People Every Year.
Each one has a Story.

On Monday, June 11th, the Central West CCAC will host our 2011-2012 Annual General Meeting at the Pearson Convention Centre (5:00 to 7:30 p.m.).  While we’ve promoted the AGM over the past month, I wanted to personally extend an invitation of my own.  This isn’t a stuffy meeting; we exist because of our clients, and our agenda reflects it!

I am pleased to welcome Ted Ball of Quantum Transformation Technologies as this year’s keynote speaker.  Ted will use his expertise in patient-focused care and experience-based design to offer valuable insights about improving the client / patient experience, a topic that is both highly relevant and exceedingly important.

In keeping with our commitment to always putting our clients first, we will also present 31,000 Stories, our 2011-2012 Report to the Community.  The report highlights the stories of some of the 31, 552 people we served last year and will be accompanied by videos showcasing our clients and the staff who have supported them.

Finally, we’ll launch Heroes in the Home, a caregiver recognition program that acknowledges the contributions of both paid and unpaid caregivers.  I look forward to sharing more about this exciting new program with you in the weeks to come – and encourage you to nominate the special caregivers in your own lives.

Light refreshments will be served beginning at 5:00, and the formal agenda will begin at 5:30.

For more information and to RSVP, contact Gisele Moiny-Boileau at Gisele.Moiny-Boileau@cw.ccac-ont.ca or #905-796-0040, ext. 7697.

I would be delighted to see you there!
